Connor Simmons at The Accountancy Partnership handled my company's accounts filing promptly and professionally. He provided clear and comprehensive explanations throughout the process, which made everything straightforward and efficient. I am extremely satisfied with the service and would like to commend Connor for his excellent work. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking reliable and knowledgeable accountancy support.
Jermaine Gordon
Aaron Parkinson is an absolute gem of an accountant, and such a nice guy. He spent so much time reviewing my accounts with me over the phone, before they were agreed and finalised. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the service I continue to receive. Highly recommended.
Graham Price
I am extremely impressed with Ben Salisbury and The Accountancy Partnership's service. As a first-time self-assessment client, I was very late submitting my records and felt stressed about the process. Ben's professionalism and approachability was fantastic, he patiently guided me through everything to ensure my accounts were filed on time.

Not sure how to be a self-employed dentist?
Being a dentist describes your profession, but it’s not a legal structure for tax purposes. It means that as well as maintaining your General Dental Council registration and arranging professional indemnity cover, you’ll need to register your business with HMRC. Most practitioners choose between working as a sole trader or setting up a limited company.
Both have pros and cons depending on your circumstances, so deciding what suits you best can feel overwhelming! Our friendly team can talk you through all the options available, and what each one might mean for you. If you decide to incorporate a new limited company, we’ll even set everything up for you with Companies House, saving you up to £120!
Moving to us from a new accountant
Moving all your records over to a new accountant can be a daunting prospect if you’re not too sure what to look out for. We can do it for you!
We’ll liaise with your old provider to make all the arrangements – a process known as professional clearance – and let HMRC know we’re acting on your behalf whilst you get to know your new accountant.
What services do I need?
You’ll need to submit a tax return no matter what type of business structure you register with HMRC. For instance, sole traders must send either a Self Assessment or MTD Income Tax return, but limited companies use Company Tax Returns. It’s why your fee includes a complete set of financial accounts and the appropriate tax return as standard.
There are lots of other ways an accountant can support you, and not everyone needs the same services. Some will become VAT registered and want help with VAT returns, whereas someone running a company might look for guidance around director’s payroll. If you’d like advice on choosing the right services for you, call our team on 020 3355 4047.
Additional accounting services for dentists

Everyone’s costs will look a little different, but your accountant will go through everything in detail and make sure you’re claiming it all on your tax return!
Yes, if you decide to work as a self-employed dentist or another type of dental health professional, you’ll need to send tax returns to tell HMRC about the money you earn. The type of tax return you need to send depends on how you register the business, but don’t worry – your accountant will explain it all in detail!
