This month we spoke to Hannah, founder of Accountancy Hub.
Hey Hannah! Tell us about your business
Accountancy Hub supports trainee accountants to thrive in their exams and in their careers. We want to support an inclusive finance industry.
What drove you to start your business?
I studied accountancy during Covid which brought many new challenges. I am also dyslexic and realised there was not enough support out there for neurodiverse trainees. Accountancy is a tough profession and that’s why Accountancy Hub focuses on wellbeing, inclusion and community.
What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?
I had to make the decision to work on the business full-time, leaving my secure corporate job. Luckily contract work has kept me going, plus savings. It’s not easy being a solo-entrepreneur though!

Why did you choose The Accountancy Partnership?
I liked and trusted the people I spoke with. Although I am an accountant myself, I’ve never looked after my own accounts or been in a purely finance role so I really do need the support!
Have we helped you overcome any challenges, and if so, how?
Pandle is a great platform. I’ve found it easy to use and the fact it’s free is brilliant.
What do you have planned for your business in the future?
At the moment I am approaching firms for corporate membership to the Accountancy Hub platform. The dream would be to have all accountancy firms with trainees signed up and supporting their trainees!
