Hey Gavin! Tell us about your business
Found Food provides short sessions teaching Foraging, Fieldcraft/Bushcraft, Herbalism, and Hillwalking leading. We also provide outdoor experiential therapy, and short breaks in the Welsh countryside.
What drove you to start your business?
A passion to share what I know, and to help people to discover the healing power of nature.
What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?
Getting the message out there was, and still is, the biggest challenge. Although I force myself to do it, advertising and promotion still feels very alien to me.

Have we helped you overcome any challenges, and if so, how?
I have been running a limited company in another industry for a while now, so I don’t really see those sorts of challenges anymore, but The Accountancy Partnership’s video explainers have been great reminders for some of the finer points which I may have forgotten over the years.
What do you have planned for your business in the future?
I like working in small teams, so no world domination just yet. I am moving more into the world of publications and online courses now, and that is presenting me with a whole new load of challenges.
