Hey! Tell us about your business
We’re a scientific consultancy, supporting innovator biotech and pharma companies worldwide in developing new medicines. We help guide these companies on how to scale-up their new molecule and bring it to market (CMC aspects), and we provide Subject Matter Expertise (Chemistry, Quality-technical, Regulatory) as well as Project Management for in-house and outsourced activities.
What drove you to start your business?
I always wanted to have my own business and the idea had been lingering for a while. Following a cost-cutting restructure in my last employment, a blessing in disguise, I found the courage to set-up my practice. It’s been fantastic!
What particular challenges did you have to overcome in setting up your business, and since then?
The key concern was to find clients but I was surprised with the support and amount of work I got. Accounting, bookkeeping and tax matters were not my core expertise so I was glad to find good support from The Accountancy Partnership.
