Give an overview of the duties, functions and responsibilities of your job.

I have my own client portfolio which includes sole traders and limited companies in a variety of sectors. My job is to prepare accounts and tax returns for them every year, help them with any queries they may have and prepare VAT returns for them if required.

What is a typical working day like for you?

Starting the day with a cup of coffee, I start replying to any emails from clients which came in overnight, and start preparing for the day’s tasks ahead, which often involves working on accounts or tax/VAT returns. Throughout the day, I remain responsive to client inquiries, providing support and guidance as needed.

What is your favourite part of the job?

Getting to know new clients and their business models.

What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?

Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming from the start, and I have a solid group of mates and a great mentor who is willing to offer support with any queries that I have.

What skills do you find most useful to do your job?

Time management is probably the most important skill to have as we must meet various deadlines and keep our response time within 24-hours.

Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?

Going to Goodison to watch Everton, or the gym.

Probably the latter based on the blues’ form recently.

What’s your proudest achievement?

Joining TAP at 18.

How would your colleagues describe you?

Jon said a good friend because I am always up for a Friday McDonalds and a young buck and Ben Warren has described me as a whippersnapper.

What are you reading/binge watching at the moment?

Normally watching the Office U.S
