I spend most of my time writing articles and blogs for the various websites, as well as the odd YouTube script.
What is a typical working day like for you?
Coffee. Write. Coffee. Write. Then probably more coffee.
What particular challenges do you regularly encounter?
I am by no means an accountant (or even close), so I regularly need to look things up in order to be able to write about them. This outsider’s perspective actually comes in handy, though, as it means my writing is very clear and to the point. I don’t know enough to waffle!
What is your favourite part of the job?
Being creative where I can.
What do you like most about working for The Accountancy Partnership?
The coffee machine’s great. Did I mention I like coffee?
Oh, and the people are alright, too, I guess.
What skills do you find most useful to do your job?
It sure helps to know how to use a keyboard.
Really, though, it’s about translating complex topics into plain old English, so that anyone (even me!) can understand them.
You also need to have a creative spark and a good sense of humour.
Where’s your favourite place to visit on days off?
The cinema. Preferably to watch Superman again.

Just finished watching Daredevil: Born Again. Top tier stuff.
